Volunteering Opportunities

Photographer

Are you a keen photographer, could you help support our communication and marketing by providing us with amazing images of our waterways? If so we would love to hear from you.

Water Quality Monitoring Project - Lincoln and Grantham

Water quality is key to a healthy aquatic environment, being able to pinpoint any pollution source is vital for the health of our rivers. You will be provided with training and equipment to enable you to measure nutrient and sediment pollution and help us monitor water quality.

Riverfly Monitoring - South of Grantham

A national scheme for protecting the biological health of our watercourses by monitoring and recording riverflies.  Free training will be given and all equipment provided.  All we ask is that you can commit to approximately 30 minutes, once a month for 12 months.

Work Party Volunteers

Many of our projects rely on volunteers getting stuck in and helping us with practical work, a great work-out and great for the environment too!

Events and Engagement Volunteers

Family events, country shows and education sessions with local schools or community groups are perfect opportunities for us to engage with and enthuse children and adults alike about their local watercourse and the amazing wildlife it supports.  If you enjoy talking to people and wish to support us with our engagement we'd love to hear from you.

For more details on any of the above please contact Gail Talton either via email gail.talton@lincsrivers.org.uk or by Telephone on 07927 156155
