Looking for something to do around Lincoln? Why not put on your walking shoes, download our map (below) and go looking for the uniquely designed and named bird and bat boxes in Branston.
All the boxes were made and designed by local children and will provide homes for birds such as blue tits, robins and wrens. If you are out around dusk (particularly in the summer) you may also be lucky to spot a bat or two. They are out feeding on insects and may also swoop down to have a drink from the beck.
We would like to thank the Environment Agency for their support with this project, and of course all the families that came and made the amazing boxes.
If you spot any birds or bats when you are out then we would love to hear about it. Let us know using Facebook or Twitter @lincsrivers.
